BP Oil Spill
In 1979,there have a boat has drill into the water because the oil came out and the boat is on fire, this oil affect lot of animals. In 30 years, they got better at drilling deeper and further into ocean. Rachel Maddow a journalist we listened today on the internet explained this information by looking at the history. Today it is no different than 30 years ago the oil drill into the water. The BP oil spill is making many animals die. And now the news is talking about this, they are trying to fix this spill but they don't know how just like before. It effect me,when we eat fish, the fish body is oil and then we eat it we will get poison too. We can fix this by telling oil companies to stop drilling and that they need to go to study hall lol :)) just like me they need to do their homework and learn how to solve these problems they create.

Shop Til You Drop Activity
• How did it feel to have more or less money than other people in the class?
The rich people can go to any where you want, but the poor people can't go any where and can't eat any things.
How did it feel to see what you could and could not afford at the Global Mall?
I think shopping is important.
• How many of you could not afford education? What would your lives be like if you could not go to school?
The rich people can go to school to study, but the poor people don't have enough money to go to school.
• How would it feel to have to choose between food and health care?I will choose both, because this two are very important.
• How many of you have ever been very sick or gone to a hospital or had friends and family who have? I have never been to hospital when I was sick.
What would your life be like now if you had been unable to get medical care?I will be very prove.

First Exam(Citizen)
Everybody can be a citizen like us,good citizens help a lot of other citizen. Like the other day Haiti got an earthquake. Our Taiwan citizen go there to help them, because we are good citizens,I think the citizen is good for me. A prejudice is an opinion,a prejudgment or attitude about a group or its individual members. A prejudice can be positive, but in our usage refers to a negative attitude. A stereotype is an exaggerated belief,or distorted, every time a genera lization that allows of little or none individual different or social variation. Process that begin with attachment to a close of acquaintances or an in group. Prejudice is often aimed at out group. If we want to learn all about citizen,we can watch video in class or we go home to watch by ourselves in YouTube. What is bias?Bias is perpetuated by conformity with an in-group attitudes and socialization by the culture at large . Humanity is basically good. To be a citizen one has to care about everybody. If you didn't care about everybody there will no citizen this world anymore. Scientific research has demonstrated that biases through to be absentor extinguished remain as mental residue in most of us. Studies show can be consciously committed to egalitarianism. Terrence Guay from penn state University. A person can only be a citizen of one's country, and a person can be a citizen of one's state and a person can only be a citizen of the entire world. The executive director of the social education consortium that just because we elect and de-elect politicians to government doesn't mean we have any real power, the University of Michian says that as citizen we should be asking ourselves a very important question. The different between a subject and a citizen is not a subject is a follower and citizen is a leader and a subject is a victim and a citizen has control, citizen have responsibilities that are different for each institution we are a citizen of so we have multiple responsibilities. Another kind of citizen meaning is respon. Sr bill ties for every one voter formal for government. Psychologists all Harvard, the University of virginia and university of wastinglon created project Implicit to develop Hidden bias teat-call Implicit Association tests or IATs in the academic world-to measure unequally because of their group memberships. Disclimination ,behavior ranging from slights to hate crimes, oyher begins with nagntive stereotypes an prejudices. Stereotypes are based on imagn in mass media,or reputations passed on by parents. Peers and other member of society, stereotypes can be positive or negative. We can do what we learn,we own be the right thing we can help people, the gushiun is how do we learn to not be ruice to people because we think we are letter.
